Falcon Daman Challenge - Race 3 | Al Hudayriyat Island
The Falcon Daman Challenge returns for Race 3.
Race 3 will take the format of Australian Pursuit Racing with riders in both the men's and women's category assigned to a starting group. The assignment to groups is based on previous cycling performances and the Race Committee's discretion.
As an example Group 4 will start at 7:10pm, followed by Group 3 at 7:13pm, Group 2 at 7:16pm, Group 1 at 7:18pm and Scratch at 7:20pm. Awarding is this format of race is based on the first rider across the line with points for the series awarded on net time.
For each of the 3 races in the series, riders will be awarded points on their position based on NET Time
1st 20Points, 2nd 19Points, 3rd 18Points, 4th 17Points, 5th 16Points, 6th 15Points, 7th 14Points down to 20th place and 1Point, 21st plus receives 1Point.
Results will be displayed as three divisions Emirati, Rest of the World and Global (all). Each Division will carry overall and Age Group.
A prize pool of AED60,000 has been allocated for the GLOBAL OVERALL Age Group with
1st Place 3,000 | 2nd Place 2,000 | 3rd Place 1,000 across Junior, Youth, Open, Masters and Veterans.
Should riders be equal on points the winner will then be decided on the lowest NET time for the 3 races.
Distances:
Juniors: 8 km (1 x 8 km laps), 16 km (2 x 8 km laps)
Ladies & Men: 56.8Km (4 x 14.2 km laps)
Timings:
4:45 pm: Registration opens
5.45 pm: Start Juniors (8Km, 16Km)
7:00 pm: Start Ladies (56.8Km)
7:10 pm: Start Men (56.8Km)
PLEASE NOTE: Participants can ONLY use a road bike. No time trial, mountain, fixed gear, track bikes or any additional handlebar.
COVID-19 Protocols - All participants must provide their PCR negative test result to be within 48 hours of event day. Participants vaccinated with the sign (*), (E) or (V) in their ALHOSN app must provide a negative PCR test result within 7 days.
No spectators are allowed at the events start and finish zones.

Submission of manual activities
The inphota platform allows submission of activities through many different means - Strava, Garmin, Fitbit - but we understand that sometimes it is preferable to submit the data in another way. To facilitate this we have produced a manual submission form which you can enter details of the activities for the contests that you have registered for.
To access the manual submission form you must be logged into the inphota account that registered for the contest, and have the details to hand. If you registered for the event using guest checkout then it is not possible to use the manual submission form.

Unfortunately this contest is restricted by age or gender, and the details in your profile do not fit within the restrictions laid out by the organiser. For this reason quick registration is not available.
However, you can still register for this contest through the usual means, and by filling out the details of the person that you want to register!
